For the love of sarah
This was made out of love for Sarah G. as in Sarah Geronimo.
Oh not from me. no! Not that I hate Sarah but my friend actually is the one who loves her more.
When I say more, more like she's kind of a die hard fan.
Anyway, I volunteered to do some DIY project for a friend since I'm into paper quilling these days (i hope i will forever love this craft) why not give a try.
And this is it. My close to serious approach to paper quilling.

You may see in the collage above the close up looks of my work.
I made this like for 2 days only during my vacant time. I wasn't able to record the right timings but i met the deadline in advance anyway.
This work is a combination of different styles and techniques in quilling. The most common I used is the 'rolling' and I just manually manipulate it to the shape I wanted. I also used the comb technique with the leaves (color green)and the petals (faded violet) with my personal comb. And with the lettering of the name SARAH, I checked on youtube for the technique but was not able to carry out exactly the same since I lack the resources. But I know, somehow,I give justice to it.
To cap it all, I'm a little satisfied with my work. Little that i did not find the lettering and the heart shape perfect. It isn't bad for a beginner I bet.
I hope soonest that I will be able to post some tutorials here for your reference.
As of now, I'm on discovering things still.
Hope you guys are enjoying my blogs as much as I enjoy my crafts.
Thank you.
